The physical and chemical properties of copper sulfate pentahydrate are transparent dark blue crystals or powders. Its solubility in water at 0°C is 316 g/L. It is insoluble in ethanol and almost insoluble in most other organic solvents. It is yellow or green when it contains a lot of impurities, and it is odorless. This product is highly corrosive to iron.

1. Feed grade is used as an antimicrobial agent to improve intestinal microorganisms and promote growth;

2. Used in agriculture as fungicides, insecticides and copper-containing pesticides.

3. The beneficiation industry is used for the flotation of non-ferrous metals;

8. The paint industry is used as a poisonous agent for ship bottom antifouling paint;

9. In the electroplating industry, it is used as an ion additive for sulfate copper plating and wide-temperature full-bright acidic copper plating;

10. Electronic grade is used for etching of copper foil and electronic circuit board.
