DESCRIPTION
Sorbitol also called D-Glucitol, Sorbol, D-Sorbitol, hygroscopic powder or as a white crystalline powder, flakes or granules, odorless, soluble in water, with a refreshing sweet taste, sweetness about half of sucrose, and sucrose similar calorific value.

APPLICATION
(1)It can be used as a sweetener, as usual, to make sugar free chewing gum. It is also used as a humectant and excipient for cosmetics and toothpaste, and as a substitute for glycerin. It is also a good humectant and surfactant.
(2)It can be used as raw material for the production of vitamin C, and sorbitol can be used to produce vitamin C through fermentation and chemical synthesis
(3)Nutritional sweeteners, wetting agents, chelating agents and stabilizers, used in sugar production, brewing and bean products
(4) Aquatic water retaining agent
